The rusty color and the prominent ridges of these remind me of the spines on the back of a rockfish.  Fun fact, I (Abby) went on a halibut charter a few years ago and only caught rock fish the whole time.  Thankfully, my friends and family had better luck!  These handcrafted, porcelain earrings are suspended on gold-plated sterling silver hooks.
